Due to the generous support of the Society for Renaissance Studies and the Royal Historical Society, we are able to offer bursaries for PhD students and early career researchers to attend and present at this conference.
£150 Bursaries for Speakers
We are offering three bursaries worth £150 each to PhD students and early career researchers who present at the conference. These will cover registration fees and the conference dinner, and will also provide approximately £100 towards travel and accommodation costs. All proposals received from PhD students and early career researchers (without a full-time academic post) will be considered for the bursaries, which will be granted on the basis of the distance travelled and the quality of the proposed paper. To be considered, submit an abstract by the deadline of 30 June 2017.
Travel Costs for Postgraduate and ECR Attendees
We will additionally be offering smaller bursaries to contribute to the travel costs of postgraduates and early career researchers attending the conference. These will be granted on the basis of distance and need. If you would like to be considered for a bursary, please register for the conference and contact the organisers (at firstname.lastname@example.org) by 1 September 2017.
